Well... after a week of much drama... its finally done... the guitar player didn't get his music until Wednesday night... had not practiced at all before rehearsal Thursday night... When we finished Thursday I was scared for Sunday. He wasn't going to have much time to practice on his own. And We would try to get one more quick rehearsal in on Saturday night. But... they never called me to let me know they were back in town, so no second rehearsal.
Sunday morning arrives and I catch them when they get to church. Lets rehearse now! We did... I was still worried about a couple songs but we did it. Not one of the best worship services ever, but the best we could do. Gonna have to have a talk with them before they are on the schedule next time!
