What was my favorite vacation or trip ever -- list 10 reasons why

My favorite vacation was my 2007 trip to Colorado. Why?
1. I got to spend alone time with my hubby and my princess, away from the craziness of life back home
2. I got to visit my cousin in Nebraska whom I hadn't seen in years.
3. I got to visit friends in Colorado Springs whom I hadn't seen in years.
4. I had lost weight since the last time being there, so I actually enjoyed hiking and climbing stairs and checking out the waterfalls.
5. I got to take my daughter to Whit's End at Focus on the Family and watch her use her 3 year old imagination
6. I got to spend time with my sister-in-law and her husband, exploring frozen mountain lakes and snow covered trails.
7. I got to get away with just my hubby for a night and drove the Million Dollar highway between Ouray and Silverton.
8. Visited with my Aunt and Uncle in Wyoming.
9. Short stops at Devil's Tower and the Black Hills on the way home
10. We started trying for baby #2 (conceived shortly after this trip (: )

Something comfortable is...

So I found a website that gives me prompts for blogging topics... Some are easy, some are tough... some are curious...

...like this one...

comfortable is easy... relaxing even. Change is not comfortable... it is not easy... it is not relaxing... I don't like change. Its scarey and hard... And I'm not enjoying it.

I wish there was an easy way to do this... To fix my issues. To change my life. To be better. I wish it didn't take so much work.

Something that I've heard several times in various ways is that a sacrifice doesn't mean anything if it doesn't cost anything... or a gift isn't worth much if it doesn't cost much...

What is changing in your life right now?

Everything.

Well... first off... I haven't been here in a while. I want that to change. I want to start writing. I want to start sharing. I want to meet people.

So, to update everyone, My baby turned 4 last week! My little guy is so much fun! He loves snuggles. And helping mom. He's got so much energy and joy.

My princess turns 7 in just a couple weeks! First grade is going good. She's making friends and reading so much! She even learned how to ice skate.

My dear hubby changed jobs. He's home so much more which I love and appreciate. Sadly, this week (Valentine's week) he's been gone. A week of training for his job. But He comes home tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to it!

And for me... so much! I'm learning to eat healthier. I'm enjoying exercise. I'm actually feeling more comfortable in my skin. And I'm not as scared of being intimate with my hubby. That's a long story but I'm hoping to share more as time goes on.

And for us... we celebrate our 10 year anniversary in April. Wow! Can't believe its been that long already! The first 9 were not easy... but we've made it!
